To uphold our commitment to respect, integrity, and accountability, we have established this Code of Conduct. It reflects our core values and guides us in creating an ethical and inclusive environment.
This Code applies to all UrbanPixie employees, contractors, consultants, suppliers, and agents in their work with us.
1. Compliance with Laws
UrbanPixie adheres to all applicable legislation, laws, and regulations. Where this Code of Conduct sets a higher standard, UrbanPixie will comply with those enhanced standards.
2. Ethical Behavior
Integrity: We are committed to doing the right thing, even when it is challenging. Transparency and honesty are central to our communications with each other, our customers, and our vendors.
Anti-Corruption: We comply with all anti-corruption, anti-bribery, and anti-money laundering laws. Bribery, defined as offering or receiving something of value to improperly influence a decision, is strictly prohibited.
3. Human Rights, Equity, and Opportunity
Non-Discrimination: UrbanPixie treats all individuals with respect and dignity. We do not discriminate in employment practices based on race, color, national origin, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, military status, religion, age, marital status, pregnancy, disability, or any other characteristic unrelated to job performance.
Harassment: We do not tolerate any form of physical, verbal, sexual, or psychological abuse or harassment.
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion: We are committed to fostering a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace. We support our values through initiatives like Employee Resource Groups and partnerships with social justice organizations.
Human Slavery, Trafficking, and Terrorism: UrbanPixie opposes all forms of forced, involuntary, or child labor, and will not support or engage in activities related to slavery, human trafficking, or terrorism.
4. Compensation and Benefits
Fair Compensation: We are committed to providing competitive and fair compensation to all employees, including fair wages, overtime premiums, and benefits. This applies across all employment stages, including training and probation periods.
5. No Retaliation
Protection: UrbanPixie prohibits retaliation against anyone who reports a violation or suspected violation in good faith, or who participates in an investigation.

Work Environment: As a remote-first organization, UrbanPixie offers hybrid work options and is dedicated to providing a safe, inclusive workspace with reasonable accommodations. We adhere to all health and safety regulations and encourage employees to report any unsafe conditions.

Responsible Innovation: We strive to balance innovation with our commitment to ethical practices, law compliance, diversity, and the well-being of our employees and partners. These principles guide our actions and the enforcement of our Acceptable Use Policy.

Global Citizenship: UrbanPixie supports various causes aligned with our values through financial contributions, product donations, and volunteer efforts. Initiatives like the Spotlight on Inclusion program and Bitly Cares reflect our commitment to making a positive impact.
9. Environmental Protection
Sustainability: We aim to minimize our environmental impact and incorporate sustainability into our business practices wherever possible.
10. Confidentiality and Data Privacy
Privacy Protection: We prioritize the privacy and security of employee and customer data. All activities are conducted with industry-leading data protection practices. Employees are encouraged to report any data privacy concerns or security incidents immediately.
11. Insider Trading
Trading Restrictions: UrbanPixie prohibits insider trading. We do not buy or sell stocks based on material non-public information, nor do we share such information with others.
12. Reporting
Reporting Violations: All violations or suspected violations should be reported to the Compliance Committee, which includes the General Counsel, Chief People Officer, Chief Diversity Officer, and Chief Financial Officer. Reports can also be made to managers, the Legal Department, or through the UrbanPixie Ethics & Compliance Helpline at Ethics & Compliance Helpline.
Confidentiality: Reports made through the Helpline can be confidential and anonymous. Providing detailed information and relevant documents will aid in the investigation process.
